Zenab for Women Development (ZWD) is a grass roots women rights
organization founded in 2000,it was named after a pioneer woman
educator (Mrs.Zenab Mohamad Nour) who dedicated herself for girls
education in Eastern-Sudan since 1941, to empower women through
education. ZWD based in Gadaref and has coordinating office in Khartoum
(Capital of Sudan), ZWD in Special Consultative Status with the Economic & Social
Council of the United Nations since 2005
